Jorge has both B.Sc. in engineering (mining and metallurgy) and MBA degrees and over 30 years of mining experience in Mexico, in both the corporate and operational spheres. His expertise was gained on the San Nicolas Proyecto for the Mexican affiliate of Teck Cominco, the Mulatos Proyecto for National Gold, and for Grupo México in the Cananea Mine. Previously, he was with Luisman SA de CV, initially as VP of Development and later as VP of Operations responsible for three operating units.
